As the seasons change, the contents of your box will change to ensure you have what you need for the gardening month ahead. Each month, you will receive full-colour instructions and expert advice from Roz Chandler, a flower farmer and cut flower expert. The best part about receiving The Cut Flower Box is the gift you give yourself and the planet. You are investing in your mental health. Being in nature is an excellent way of providing yourself with some time and space to potter and lose the stresses of everyday life.
It's the gift that keeps on giving. After about 12 weeks, you will see your efforts blossom into gorgeous blooms that you can cut and enjoy or gift to someone else.
Furthermore, you are doing your bit for the planet. For example, growing your own blooms will mean fewer imported blooms that have been sprayed with pesticides, travelled thousands of air miles and been wrapped in copious amounts of plastic!
It's as easy as ABC, or Sow, Grow, Cut!
Roz Chandler
"Honestly, if I can grow cut flowers, anyone can. I started with three raised beds and no horticultural knowledge. I want to show you that you can too."
Our HISTORY
Roz Chandler became a flower farmer by accident.
When Roz purchased her home and the adjoining land, she knew she wanted to put the land to work. Animals came first, chickens, pigs, and later goats. Then Roz embarked on a one-day course in growing your own cut flowers, and she got inspired. Roz started sowing annuals and what quickly followed was an abundance of beautiful flowers, which soon after blooming were harvested to adorn her new home.
Over a decade later, Roz is growing blooms across the entire farm and producing thousands of British stems yearly, all year round, at Field Gate Flowers.
Roz has an award-winning floristry business alongside her flower farm and mentors other business owners. She runs the cut flower collective, an online training school for anyone wanting to grow cut flowers for fun or as a business.
Through her book 'Seeds to Vase' Roz has witnessed first-hand what a difference spending time amongst the butterflies and the bees can have. The book is filled with many uplifting stories of people who have positively impacted their lives and physical and mental well-being through growing cut flowers.

Roz believes passionately that if we all grow more, we will be able to reduce the massive transportation of blooms across the globe. Currently, 90% of all flowers in the UK are imported from as far away as Columbia, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Together, growing our own and importing fewer stems will help save the planet for our children and future generations.
